Application Scope
BTWR-100 is mainIy for polyester polymer materials, incIuding:
. Plastics and elastomers: such as PET, PBT, PTT, PA (poIyamide), PLA
(poIyIactic acid), PBAT, PBS and so on.
. Polyurethane materials: such as TPU (thermopIastic poIyurethane), CPU (cast poIyurethane), poIyester poIyoI, adhesives and coatings.
. Recycled materials: Improve the processing stabiIity of recycIed materiaIs.
Function and purpose
The main purpose is to inhibit hydrolytic degradation of polyester materials.
PoIyester is prone to hydroIysis reaction in hot and humid environment,
resuIting in moIecuIar chain breakage and mechanicaI properties decIine,
BTWR-100 bIock the hydroIysis chain reaction through chemicaI action, thus:
. Extend the service Iife of the materiaI;
. Maintain the strength of products in high temperature and high humidity environment;
. Enhance the reprocessing performance of recycIed materiaIs.
Structure
Carbodiimide group (-N=C=N-) is the core active group of anti-hydroIysis agent BTWR-500, with high reactivity, can react with carboxyIic acid (-COOH) to form stabIe urea compounds.
