Application Scope
BTM–3080 is mainly used in PLA injection molding, 3D printing, blister molding and other fields. It effectively improves the toughness of products.
Function and purpose
BTM–3080 toughening masterbatch is a special toughening product developed for PLA, a biodegradable material. The carrier of this masterbatch is polylactic acid (PLA), in which the highly efficient toughening component forms a strong interfacial bond with the PLA resin through chemical bonding or physical adsorption to reduce phase separation, improve compatibility, improve flow stability, and help the resin material to maintain stable processing performance and improve the tensile and impact resistance of the product in the downstream processing and production of products. It can effectively solve the problems of brittle and easy to fracture PLA products, improve production stability, and increase the yield rate of products.
The masterbatch can be blended with raw materials and then modified into modified materials by twin- screw modification, and can also be used directly for product processing after physical mixing with the base material resin. The recommended additive amount of this product is 15–25%, and the additive amount should be decided according to the actual sampling situation and the performance requirements of the final products.
