TPEE (thermoplastic polyester elastomer)
Application scenarios: automobile parts (airbag cover plate, dust cover, pipeline, cable sheath), industrial hose, hydraulic pipe, seals, sports equipment (shoe material, grip), consumer electronics (data line sheath).
Adaptation additives and functions:
Anti-hydrolysis agent (carbodiimide): Key additive! The ester bond of TPEE is easy to hydrolyze, especially under high temperature, high humidity and stress. It is necessary to add efficient anti-hydrolysis agent to ensure long-term flexibility, strength and sealing performance, and prevent premature brittle failure.
Chain extender (epoxy): (recycling TPEE, high viscosity requirements application) repair processing or hydrolytic degradation, restore melt strength and mechanical properties, improve extrusion stability.
Nucleating agent: (for specific applications) May have a slight effect on hard segments (PBT-like), optimize crystallization to improve heat resistance or dimensional stability, but not for mainstream needs.
Lubricating masterbatch: (extrusion processing, complex mold) improve processing fluidity, reduce die pressure, improve surface finish, easy to demolding.
Aging resistant masterbatch: (outdoor application, exposed parts of cars) resist ultraviolet radiation (prevent discoloration, surface cracking) and thermal oxidative aging (maintain elasticity), prolong service life.
