Scope of application
Amide nucleating agent BTA-6001 is mainly used to optimize the crystallization behavior of polyamide in the following scenarios:
. PA types: PA6, PA66, PA12 and other semi-crystalline polyamides.
. Processing: injection molding (precision parts, thin-walled products),
extrusion molding (films, tubes), fiber spinning (industrial filaments, textile fibers).
. End fields:
o Automotive industry: engine peripheral parts, gears, connectors (improved heat resistance and dimensional stability).
o Electrical and electronics: sockets, coil bobbins (enhanced insulation and rigidity).
o Packaging and films: high barrier films, food packaging (improved surface finish).
o Fiber Products: High-strength industrial fibers (e.g., fishing nets, ropes).
Functions and Purposes
. Shorten molding cycle time and improve production efficiency. . Improve mold release.
. Improve product dimensional stability. . Reduce post-shrinkage of products.
. Prevent stress cracking of products.
. Improve mechanical properties (increase tensile strength and hardness).
Structures
. Structure function:
o Amide group: Forms hydrogen bonds with the amide bonds of the PA molecular chain to enhance interfacial bonding.
o Long alkyl chains/aromatic rings: Provide hydrophobicity and spatial site resistance, promote uniform dispersion of nucleating agents in the melt.
